इस बार पहेली कुछ अस्पष्ट सी थी परन्तु फिर भी आप सब का बहुत बहुत धन्यवाद जी
इस पहेली के जवाब को एक सत्य घटना से बताया जाएगा सन् 1983 की बात है एक 12-13 वर्ष का बच्चा मकान की तीसरी मंजिल से पड़ोस के मकान मे देखता है कि एक लड़का अपने घर के आंगन मे मेज़ पर कुछ कर रहा है गोरा रंग अधिक होने के कारण उस लड़के को देसी अंग्रेज की छेड़ से बुलाया जाता था, कोतुहलवश वो बच्चा नीचे उतर कर देसी अंग्रेज के घर की तरफ भागता है और रास्ते मे जो भी मिला उस को भी साथ लेता गया कहता हुआ 'पता नहीं देसी अंग्रेज क्या कर रहा है|'
देसी अंग्रेज के घर पहुँच कर सब बच्चे यह देखते है कि वो किसी जीव को काट रहा है पहचान कर एक दम जीव के मेंढक होने कि घोषणा कर दी जाती है और सब ध्यान से देखने लगते है| यह क्या है? यह क्या कर रहे है? देसी अंग्रेज ने बताया कि मेरे जीव विज्ञान के प्रैक्टिकल मे मेंढक को काट कर उस के भीतरी अगों को देखने समझने का होता है फिर वो उस के अंगों के नाम निडिल लगा लगा कर बताने लगा जैसे यह ह्रदय,फेफड़े,अमाशय,छोटी आंत,बड़ी आंत,यकृत,धमनी,शिरा आदि अंग/अंगक दिखाए |
उस बच्चे ने तभी ये सोचा कि वह भी यही पढ़ाई करेगा जिस मे मेंढक का विच्छेदन Dissection of Frog किया जाता है और उस ने किया
मेरे बहुत से दोस्त कोमर्स और आर्ट्स की कक्षाओं से बायो लैब मे मेंढक का विच्छेदन देखने आते थे और मन मे कहीं दबी आवाज़ सुनाई देती थी हमने क्यूँ विज्ञान संकाय नहीं लिया.
मैंने अपने विद्यार्थी जीवन मे मेंढक,तिलचट्टा,खरगोश,अर्थवोर्म,फिश का विच्छेदन किया और बहुत सीखा
मेंढक,खरगोश,फिश सप्लायर अपने फ़ार्म से हमारे कोलिज को सप्लाई करता था तिलचट्टा,अर्थवोर्म हमने खुद पकडे थे |
परन्तु आज पशु प्रेम के चलते मेंढक का विच्छेदन Dissection of Frog स्लेबस से हटा दिया गया है स्कूलों की लैब्स मे मेंढक की सप्लाई करने वाले एजेंट अपने मेंढक फ़ार्म चलाते थे वो कोई खेतों और तालाबों से मेंढक थोड़े पकड़ कर लाते थे ये सम्भव ही नहीं हो सकता,इन पशु प्रेमियों को अपनी राजनीति का धंधा चमकाने के लिए कोई और मुद्दा ना मिला तो इस महत्वपूर्ण प्रयोग को हटवा दिया | स्कूलों से ज्यादा मेंढक तो होटलों और रेस्त्रोरेंटों मे पलेटों मे परोसे जा रहे है |
मेरी शिक्षाविदों से यह सलाह है कि कक्षा नवम से बायोलोजी के पाठ्यक्रम मे कम से कम मेंढक,काक्रोच,केंचुवो,टिड्डी का विच्छेदन जरूर होना चाहिए |
कुछ तो हम वैसे ही बेकार से स्लेबस को पढ़ रहें हैं कुछ ये नास मारने पर उतारूं है बाकी देश के शिक्षाविद कोई मुर्ख हैं जो वहां मेंढक का विच्छेदन अनिवार्य है |
आप छात्र हैं और डॉक्टर बनना चाहते हैं। लेकिन प्रयोगों के दौरान मेंढक काटना पड़ेगा इसके चलते कई बायोलॉजी छोड़ देते हैं। या फिर आप पशु प्रेमी हैं मेढकों की चीड़फाड़ आपको पसंद नहीं तो वैज्ञानिकों ने इसका निदान ढूंढ लिया है।
अब जिंदा मेढकों को काटने के लिए मोम की प्लेट पर सुइयों से बींधने की जरूरत नहीं पडे़गी, क्योंकि प्रयोगों में इस्तेमाल के लिए खास तौर पर विकसित पारदर्शी मेढक अगले छह महीनों में प्रयोगशालाओं तक पहुंच रहे हैं।
करीब दो साल पहले प्रयोगशाला में तैयार पारदर्शी मेढकों के बाद अब जापान के ही वैज्ञानिकों ने पारदर्शी मछलियां भी तैयार करने में सफलता हासिल कर ली है और उन्हें आशा है कि अगले छह महीनों में प्रयोगशालाओं और स्कूलों के लिए इनकी बिक्री शुरू हो जाएगी। मेंढकों की ही तरह पारदर्शी गोल्डफिश का भी धड़कता दिल बाहर से ही नजर आता है। वैज्ञानिकों का कहना है कि अब काफी हद तक परीक्षणों के लिए उन्हें मारने की जरूरत नहीं पडे़गी। प्रयोगों के दौरान स्कूलों में ही बच्चों को मेंढक काटना पडता है जिसके चलते कई छात्र जीव विज्ञान विषय ही छोड़ देते हैं। यही नहीं पशु प्रेमी भी वर्षों से मेढकों के काटे जाने पर उंगलियां उठाते रहे हैं।
जापान की माय यूनीवर्सिटी के जीव विज्ञान के एसोसिएट प्रोफेसर यूताका तमारू का कहना है कि पिगमेंट के न होने के कारण इस गोल्डफिश की त्वचा एकदम पारदर्शी है जिससे इसका न केवल धड़कता दिल धक-धक करता बाहर से ही साफ दिखाई देता है, बल्कि आंख के ऊपर दिमाग तथा अन्य अंग भी काम करते हुए देखे जा सकते हैं।
यूताका ने कहा कि अब वैज्ञानिकों को इनके अंगों पर परीक्षण करने के लिए उसका शरीर काटकर देखने की जरूरत नहीं होगी, क्योंकि अधिकांश परिस्थतियों में अब उनके अंगों पर पड़ने वाले असर को बाहर से ही काम करते या उन पर परीक्षण के असर को बिना काटे ही देखा जा सकेगा। माय यूनिवर्सिटी तथा नगोया यूनिवर्सिटों के संयुक्त प्रयासों से तैयार ये 'राइकिन' नाम की यह गोल्डफिश करीब बीस साल तक जिन्दा रहेगी तथा इसकी लंबाई भी करीब दस इंच और वजन दो किलो तक बढा़या जा सकेगा।
हिरोशिमा यूनिवर्सिटी के वैज्ञानिक प्रोफेसर मासायूकी सुमीदा का कहना है कि अब इन पारदर्शी मेढकों का बडे़ पैमाने में उत्पादन शुरू कर दिया गया है और संभवतः इसी साल ये पारदर्शी मेंढ़क प्रयोग के लिए उपलब्ध हो सकेंगे। उन्होंने बताया कि अगले छह माह के भीतर ये मेंढक प्रयोगशालाओं तथा स्कूलों तक पहुंच जाएंगे। दस हजार येन यानी लगभग सवा पांच हजार रुपये के इस एक मेंढक को देश विदेश के लोग घरों में पालने के लिए भी खरीद सकेंगे। साभार www.livehindustan.com
उपर की दोनों खबरों से यह सिद्ध होता है कि यह प्रक्रिया जरूरी तो ही इस के लिए सवा पांच हज़ार का मेंढक जिस संस्थान मे खरीद कर बच्चों को दिखाया जाएगा वहां कोई गरीब का बच्चा तो पढ़ नहीं सकता और यह सवा पांच हज़ार का मेंढक कितने वर्ष ज़िंदा रहेगा इतने पैसों मे 100 मेंढक आ सकते हैं और मेंढक पालको को रोज़गार भी मिलेगा अलग से क्यों जी ?

छात्र नहीं करेंगे चीरफाड़ जीव विज्ञान की पढ़ाई के दौरान अब मेंढ़क और दूसरे जानवरों की चीरफाड़ पर रोक लगेगी। विश्वविद्यालय अनुदान आयोग (यूजीसी) की ओर से गठित विशेषज्ञों की एक कमेटी ने इस संदर्भ में अंतिम फैसला ले लिया है। इसकी आधिकारिक घोषणा आज होगी। जीव विज्ञान के विभिन्न विषयों की उच्च शिक्षा में प्रायोगिक अध्ययन के लिए विभिन्न जंतुओं की चीरफाड़ की जाती है। इस चीरफाड़ के विकल्प तलाशने के लिए बनाई गई कमेटी (एक्सपर्ट कमेटी टू कंसिडर डिसकंटीन्यूएशन ऑफ डिसेक्शन ऑफ एनिमल्स इन जूलॉजी, लाइफ साइंसेज) कोर मैम्बर्स और एक्सपर्ट के दो समूहों में बंटी थी। कमेटी की इस सप्ताह शुरू हुई कॉन्फ्रेंस के दौरान शनिवार को यह फैसला लिया गया कि स्नातक स्तर पर जंतुओं के विच्छेदन पर पूर्ण रोक लगेगी। लैब में केवल फैकल्टी ही आसानी से उपलब्ध किसी प्रजाति के जंतु का विच्छेदन कर छात्रों को दिखा सकेंगे, वहीं स्नातकोत्तर स्तर पर भी जो छात्र विच्छेदन नहीं करना चाहें उन्हें इसके स्थान पर जैव विविधता (बायोडायवर्सिटी) से जुड़े प्रोजेक्ट करने का विकल्प दिया गया है, मगर इस स्तर पर केवल चूहों के विच्छेदन की ही अनुमति दी गई है। उच्च शिक्षण संस्थानों को वाइल्ड लाइफ प्रोटेक्शन एक्ट 1972 और प्रिवेंशन ऑफ क्रुअलिटी टू एनिमल एक्ट 1960 का सख्ती से पालन करने के निर्देश दिए गए हैं। बायोलॉजी और जूलॉजी पढ़ाने वाले संस्थानों में विच्छेदन पर निगरानी के लिए कमेटी भी बनाई जाएगी। विच्छेदन के विकल्पों की कमेटी की मीटिंग में सिफारिश की गई है। राजस्थान यूनिवर्सिटी में इसके विकल्पों को लागू कराने के प्रयास किए जाएंगे। - डॉ. रीना माथुर, सदस्य, एक्सपर्ट कमेटी नए सिलेबस में 25 से घटाकर 5 अंक किए एमडीएस यूनि., अजमेर में एकेडमिक काउंसिल में एक प्रस्ताव पास कर जंतु विच्छेदन को कम करने का पहला प्रयास किया है। यूनिवर्सिटी के जूलॉजी डिपार्टमेंट के एचओडी डॉ. के.के. शर्मा ने एक नया सिलेबस तैयार कर जंतु विच्छेदन के टॉपिक के 25 से घटाकर 5 अंक कर दिए हैं।जीव विज्ञान की पढ़ाई के दौरान जंतुओं के प्रति क्रूरता को रोकने के लिए कोर कमेटी गठित की थी, जिसने अंतत: स्नातक स्तर पर जंतु विच्छेदन पर रोक लगाने का फैसला लिया है। - डॉ. बी. के शर्मा, सदस्य, कोर कमेटी(दैनिक भास्कर)
